Fine Indian Cuisine
|
At The Bombay Brasserie we let the delectable taste of our Indian cuisine be its own endorsement. With our highly-trained, regional chefs at your disposal, as well as curry with a regional flavour, you can enjoy the extensive range of traditional Indian food available on our menu.
Goan cooking has been an integral part of Bombay's cuisine for many years. Robust, hearty, coconut based and with a strong Portuguese influence, it is particularly known for its splendid seafood dishes.
The cooking of North India, generally referred to as Moghlai, is basically non-vegetarian. It reflects the royal tradition as bequeathed by the Moghul Emperors. Rich and a touch exotic, it was created for the long cold winters of the North.
A traditional Indian meal at home consists of one non-vegetarian item, a vegetable, lentils and yoghurt, thus making a nutritionally balanced meal. In deference to this tradition, guests may select the main course, and they will be served a potato preparation, a vegetable of the day and a lentil dish along with it.
